The following table shows highways and drainage problems reported in the Parish that are considered CLOSED.

15/017 - Undershore Road – Vicars Hill - Overhanging branch

19 Dec 2015 Undershore Road – Vicars Hill - Overhanging branch: A note received from a local resident - A large tree branch is overhanging the whole carriageway. The tree is on the East side as you go up Vicars Hill right by a gate, forming part of the hedge.
15 Jan 2016 BPC Councillor has spoken with Hampshire Highways and raised case 21197243 with them.  He has also emailed them photos of the tree and roadway.
23 Feb 2016 BPC Councillor received call from Hampshire Highways.  They don't consider the tree a safety risk as yet but did say they would contact the land owner to reminder them of their obligations to maintain their boundaries/trees.

21 Dec 2015 Email received from Highways Manager - West confirming that the site was attended to over the weekend and made safe. RESOLVED.

Email from Hampshire Highways stating that their contractor has made safe or repaired the reported problem.

Parish Clerk inspected the repair which is satisfactory, but will soon become unsafe again.  CLOSED

29 Apr 2016 This pothole has reappeared AGAIN, and is now very deep.  Reported to Hants Highways via website.  Trackit number 21221131.

15/014 - Lower Sandy Down lane near junction with A337.

07 Dec 2015 Lower Sandy Down lane near junction with A337. Flooded road often impassable for pedestrians.  The problem caused by run-off from the A337.  Water gathers in a dip in the lane.

15 Dec 2015 Letter to Assistant Engineer, Highways, Hampshire County Council: Letter asks for comments on how these problems can be overcome and if they fall within the responsibility of Hampshire County Council (HCC) when action will be taken to rectify them.
22 Dec 2015 At a site meeting on 22/12/15, Hampshire Highways stated that no money was available to investigate this problem until at least April 2016.
21 Jan 2016 Further letter sent to the Assistant Engineer, Highways asking, as a matter of urgency, that budgets be revisited to hopefully find a way to finance the rectification of the problems, listed in our letter of 15 Dec 2015.
10 Oct 2016

A local resident has reported that a nearby landowner has found and cleared an adjacent drain which has solved this flooding problem.  A great deal of the landowners time and money was involved.

15/013 - Burnt House Lane, Pilley (West fork). Potholes (2)

04 Dec 2015 Burnt House Lane, Pilley (West fork).  Potholes (2)  – on East side of road.  Problem logged on Hants Highways site.  This site claims that Burnt House Lane is not maintained by Hants Highways.  Enquiry Reference: 21190488
