January 2018 - Hampshire Highways placed temporary barriers around the chamber at the Royden Lane junction pending repairs by their contractors. As a result HH have closed the issue on their website against the wishes of BPC. There is a gully and drain running down Rope Hill which runs into this chamber. This needs complete clearance (promised by HH) which may alleviate the surface water running down Rope Hill and could help avoid the flooding issue experienced by the Red Lion.
