Boldre Parish Council - June Report
On Monday 12th June, Boldre Parish Council’s newly formed council met for it’s monthly meeting. On the agenda was to co-opt new applications for Parish Councillors. BPC are pleased to welcome back two experienced Parish Councillors, who applied for Co-option - Cllr Eileen Morton and Cllr Jacqui England.
There remain two vacancies to join as a Parish Councillor. Please contact a Councillor or Victoria, the Parish Clerk for information.
A Parish Councillor is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in the community and help with a range of projects.
BPC welcomed the new NFDC representative for Forest and Solent to the meeting. Cllr Dan Poole committed to report regularly to the Council indicating he is particularly committed to community, safety, and wellbeing.
The official opening of the playpark, which is already being thoroughly enjoyed by our 'customers', coincides with Boldre Fete on the 1st July which may encourage even more extensive use of the area. More information will follow about the event.
Boldre Parish Council will have a stand at the Fete, we hope to see as many as possible there. Come along and meet the new council, have your say about the Parish and find out what exciting projects we are working on.
The date for the next Parish Council meeting is 10th July at 18:30. This will be an in-person meeting with the option for members of the public to attend via Zoom. Members of the public are welcome to attend in person but will be required to follow COVID restrictions or recommended advice when doing so.
