TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - TWEED LANE BOLDRE NR LYMINGTON

 From 7th December

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that New Forest District Council, acting as agent to the traffic authority, Hampshire County Council, proposes to make an Order to allow for  highway works to be undertaken, as follows:-

ROAD TO BE CLOSED:  That length of Tweed Lane Boldre near Lymington, between its junction with Rope Hill and its junction with Boldre Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the western point of closure; northeast via Rope Hill to its junction with Boldre Lane; south via Boldre Lane to the eastern point of closure and vice versa. A map of the route is available pdfhere460 KB.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE:  From 7th December 2015 for a period of six months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner.  (Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than two days between 0700hrs and 1900hrs)

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
