South Baddesly WI

South Baddesley WI was formed in 1920. We are part of the Lymington Group.

South Baddesley WI meets on the second Thursday of the month at:
2pm in the Boldre Memorial Hall, Pilley, SO41 5QG. Contact 1590 672990

We are a small, friendly group of 40 members and visitors and new members are most welcome. Our afternoon teas are legendary.

Boldre Parish Historical Society

Boldre Parish History Society is a group interested in the history of Boldre Parish and surrounding local area. They regularly hold talks on local history throughout the Winter and often have a presence at local events. An archive is currently being amassed and related photos, memories and books are always welcome that can be added.

Annual Membership Fee is charged from November to November - This entitles you to free entry to all events organised by the Society and a copy of the two Newsletters, which are published twice a year. Guests are charged entry to each event. It is therefore beneficial to have an annual subscription rather than pay for each event as a guest.

Community Speed Watch The narrow country lanes, sweeping corners, homes and schools are one of the wonders of Boldre & Pilley. However we are blighted by continually speeding motorists through our villages making walking a dangerous sport.
Boldre Produce Show Boldre holds a yearly produce show in the Boldre War Memorial hall. This is held on the 2nd Saturday in July. For details and schedules, contact Angela Granger
